Attic Creature, part 2
Ready to hear what creature was lurking in our attic and light fixture? It was a frog.
Poor Mr. Froggie. We felt so bad when we saw what it was.

Did a bird drop him into the roof or eve because there were baby birds to feed? Did he climb our 2 story house himself? Then made his way into the light fixture through the tiny slit in the corner but couldn't hop his way back out.

Actually, he might have been a "she" because "she's" don't ribbet. That's what my Mom's friend said.
My Grandpa told my Mom that sometimes frogs pretend to be dead and he said it might be still alive. He said if she put it outside, he might hop away into the ivy. Mom said he was probably dead, judging by how shriveled he was, but, hoping for the best, she put him in some water outside.
He didn't come back to life, but his body acted like a sponge! Very creepy.
Good bye Ms. Froggie. We are sorry we didn't let you out of the light fixture sooner but we thought you were a bat or bird or rat and didn't want you flying or scurrying around the interior of the house. Hopping would have been okay but we didn't know you were truly hopping in the light fixture. I hope there is a rainbow bridge for froggies. We are very sorry we didn't rescue you sooner.

Well, I guess the bigger issue now is there might be an exterior hole in our attic. Sigh.
p.s. Does anyone know if this is a tree frog or another type of frog?

Poor frog!
I have never seen one. I have no idea what "breed" it is!
I hope you are having a great weekend!
Kisses and hugs

Poor froggie! We're just sure there's a Rainbow bridge for froggies! There just has to be!
Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
Yesterday my Hooman M found a dead baby bird, probably a few weeks old right on our porch. It has been dead probably a day because it was already dry like that frog but so cute. Poor little fella. I think it must be those birds on our awning. Probably got abandoned & then died.

Hana- not sure what type of frog that is! However, don't mess with frogs- they'll make you foam at the mouth and make you sick!
you have a truman collar huh? Sometimes, my blog has to accept comments- because, if sister is not up on checking, people have left comments and we don't know. So if it's older than like a day or two, we have to moderate them.
Hope it works well now!
pppssssssssst... can you show pictures of your collar?!
Hi Hana!
I am not sure what kind of frog that is! Poor thing, I hope it's happily hoping in froggy heaven! That is very strange how it puffed back up like that!
:) Tibby
A frog! Wow, how did he get up in the light fixture? And I am pretty smart when it comes to facts about animals, but I am not sure what kind of frog this is. Poor frog....

We're glad you solved the mystery of the attic invader. Too bad the frog didn't live though.
Hi Hana, were you able to find out what kind of frog that was? Poor froggie for getting stuck. I wonder how he got inside? You will have to help your Mommy and Daddy investigate and let us know.
Love,
Teddy Bear
We're sure there's a Rainbow Bridge for froggies, we think it's the same bridge that dogs have, they hang out in the little creek that runs through the boo-timous meadow! Not sure what breed that froggie is, but it sure is creepy that he grew again.

Poor frog! But you didn't know; just hope he is in a hoppier place now. Do you have tree frogs where you live? He could be one of those types.
I never would have guessed it was a frog!
Kaos
I would bet it's a tree frog -- can't believe any other type would get up that high. If a bird carried it up there surely it wouldn't have survived the bird...
A couple of weeks ago Mom found a tiny frog in the trunk of her car!
How DO these little guys get into such weird places?
Rudy
Hana,
Tortoises are like birds...they excrete both solids and liquids from special plumbing. The reptile's "manhood" is strictly for wowing the ladies.
Tell your mom we miss your adventures...and her vacation stories. You need a new post.
Hi Hana, it's so great to hear from you! I think you should definitely do a post on your tomato plants. We put an organic sweet potato in water until it grew roots and sprouted slips (they are like branches on a tree).
Love,
Teddy Bear
