Doggie Mayhem at My Annual Barkday Cupcake Eating Contest
I turned a big 9 years old a month ago!!! On Superbowl Sunday we celebrated with my niece Happy.
Here is Happy propped up on the table, trying to get our pupcakes! Go Happy Go!

I picked up the bad habit from Happy and propped MYSELF up on the table. Mom said I was being naughty but I sure looked cute being naughty, don't you think? I really wanted those pupcakes! I just knew they were for us to eat! Mom had baked them the night before.

Here we're being restrained by our parents, otherwise we'd be ON the table devouring the pupcakes!

Here is a closeup of the pupcake. Jasmine sent us the doggie bone shaped sprinkles, the dog bone candle and the cute napkins :-)

Happy! You need to restrain yourself otherwise they're not gonna let us eat the pupcakes!

Mom likes this picture of me... she just wishes the window/sun lines weren't in the pic.

After they sang the Yappy Barkday song, we had our cupcake eating contest. I lost the contest, every year I lose, but I looked like a little lady so that always deserves a win, too!

Here I am taking a breather and enjoying the weather.

Here's a 1 minute video of us participating in the pupcake eating contest. Remember, I eat daintily like a little princess while Happy eats voraciously... like a... like a... like a tomboy hog! Oops, did I really say that out loud?
p.s. The recipe for the pupcakes is here! But, you don't need so much oil and butter. Definitely reduce the amount else your pupcakes will be swimming in oil!

Hi Hana,
I love the pup cakes! They look so delicious and pretty. I would ask my mom to bake me one but she doesn't know how to bake.
She told me she'll just buy me a sugarless mamon (cake) for my birthday. Although, I doubt if that would taste as good as your pupcake.
Love,
Charlie
Mom said she forgot one of the changes she was going ot make to the recipe was to leave out some of the egg and oil. My birthday pupcakes tasted great, too. I love pupcakes. I wish Mom would make them for me all the time!!!!

dearest hana,
our secretary enjoyed reading this pawticular post of yours. what a cute and fabulous way to celebrate your barkday! we especially love the bone shaped sprinkles and the bone shaped candles-- if only we can find these in our country, we will have a doggy themed party too.
hana, the secretary is so awed by the fact that you're able to maintain your ladylike manners even with food around. will you teach me how?
love,
your pal trudis
Haha! that first picture of Happy is just so funny. Caught red handed trying to get the pupcakes. So glad Happy was able to come to your barkday celebration. Pupcakes are so yummy. Jasmine and her Mommie are the best gift givers. Teehee!
Hana, the pupcakes look very delicious! Thanks for sharing the recipe - maybe I can persuade Mom to make me some one day. You do eat daintily like a girl :)
You do eat your pup cake much daintier than Happy. You deserve a great award for that!
