Christmas in October

I think Christmas came early this year because the FedEx man dropped off a giant gift package, plus JB's Mom gave me some presents from JB earlier this month when she came out to California on Big World Assignment! My cousin Yukon, Auntie Soraya and Uncle Lee sent me us some really good stuff! Whoo hoo! My Mom says it was thoughtful of Yukon and Soraya to think of me and to include her on the gifts. Huh? My Mom gets some of MY gifts this time? Let's see what THAT means...... Look at this giant box of presents!

I spy some yummy treats! They say "Sammy Snacks" and are cheese flavored and carob flavored. My name is not Sammy, but I desperately hope Sammy shares with me! Are you all familiar with Sammy Snacks? If you don't know what they are, stay tuned and watch the video toward the end of this post.


Look at this cool pink paw mitt that my Mom can use when I come in from the backyard with muddy feet. My Mom can use this mitt to clean my paws off!!! Perfect for the coming rainy season! No more raggedy old towels! We will clean paws in style now.

This is me digging into my Sammy Snacks. Mom said later she shouldn't have let me put my snout into the bag because I probably drooled all over the snacks. Well, she also says "a little dog drool makes a PERSON stronger." HUH?


These videos are about 1 minute each. This is a video of me being patient, then getting a freebie (Sammy Snack). I am dainty if I do say so myself!


And here I am performing my repetoire of tricks before my Mom gives me a snack... but, but, but, but SHE gets a freebie? Huh? Wait a sec. My eyes were playing tricksies on me! Why is she eating MY snacks? My Mom is eating MY snacks!



Next is a fun video of us playing bitey face with the giraffe handpuppet. (Cousin Yukon remembered one of my Mom's favorite animals are giraffes) Towards the end of the video you will notice how I suddenly realized what lay on the floor in front of me and if you look quickly, you will see how I lick my lips.



Oh, and here is what is on the Sammy Snack package. Does that explain why my Mom was eating MY OUR snacks? Auntie Soraya remembered how my Mom was always asking everyone whether they try their furbaby's barkday cake and special event desserts, so when Auntie Soraya saw these at the store, she immediately thought of my Mom! The package says "snacks for PEOPLE and dogs"

Sigh... surely a person came up with that idea. I would prefer to keep the snacks all to myself.

Thank you Yukon, Auntie Soraya and Uncle Lee! I love all my gifts, even if I do have to share with my parents. You 3 are the bestest ever!

p.s. Mom says the snacks are delicious! They are crunchy and she likes a good crunch! She's not sure if she wants to share with me though I think she's just joking. She is, isn't she?
