San Francisco Eskie Tourists

In July, my friends Takoda and Nuuk took a car ride from Quebec to California. Casper suggested we take them to San Francisco to play Eskie Tourists. I stayed at my grandparents' home since there wasn't a lot of room in the car, but my Mom showed me all the photos taken during the tour.

This is Nuuk, Takoda, and
Casper D Dog.

Here they are at the famous Palace of Fine Arts/Legion of Honor:

"Hi, my name is Casper D Dog. What's your name? Wanna play ball?"

Cute eskie pawprints:

This is the Crookedest Street (Lombard Street):

The Pawpawrazzi could not be stopped from following the famous eskies around. See the 3 photographers? Fans wanted to have their pictures taken with my friends!!! This happened continuously. Well, I guess that's what a tour is all about!

Taking a break at an outdoor restaurant on Pier 39. See the sign "Supersize"? It's ironic that Nuuk and Takoda are such tiny eskies. They can barely see what's on the table. I bet they were saying "Supersize me" so that they could get the food off the table.

"Casper, you want to order this for lunch?"

Casper's little legs were tired, so his Mom put him in his stroller. My Mom says you should have seen the 4 humans try to figure out how to open the stroller. "It was difficult!" she says. They almost gave up to search for a human Mom to help them out!

At Pier 39, when they sat down to watch the sea lions, that gave the pawpawrazzi immediate access to photo taking. Here is a munchkin striking up a conversation with Nuuk:

More photos of the outing can be found at Casper D Dog's blog.

What a great outing, but I think it is just wrong that you did not get to go, Hana! The pawpawrazzi were definitely out that day! Casper looks so cute in that stroller and ordering his lunch!
So, Hana, my mom just got her flight to CA for the week of the 5th. Mom will stay with my grandma in Livermore on Sun and then will be staying in Hayward the next 4 nights......so in case you are available to meet my mom, she says she will try to work it in! Hayward is a little scary.....I hope my mom will be safe there. At first the new company wanted to put her in Foster City to keep her safe, but mom said she'd rather be in the east bay near friends, mom etc.

those are some GREAT pictures!

In answer to your question- my dr. likes to tease mom about how i should get shaved in the summer because i've gotta be hot. However, the other dr. told us, that's crap because just like you said, we adjust our coat to how we need it. She doesn't think we should be shaved down.

Hana, your boyfriend Casper looks cute, with the wind blowing his fur at the Union Square. You should have gone with them.

Hana, the tour looked like lots of fun. I am glad Casper was up for the trip but wish you had been able to go along.

My mom says Dad can buy a mechanics manual for the new Zap car but there is NO WAY she and I are passing up a chance for a California road trip! So I think we are planning on coming your way in January (between school semesters).

You're welcome for the award, and you're a great friend! I'm so happy you let me be your friend!

The sentinel is like the heartgard medication. It is heartgard, but on top of that, it protects against flea birth.

We do have lots and lots of ticks around here- i live next to the woods. However, they seem to be pretty stupid and can't find my skin. Sometimes i'll get one or two on me. But its very rare. I think mom might've gotten maybe 3 all summer, if that.

Actually, my hoomans are more likely to get the ticks from me, because i bring them in the house, and when i curl next to a hooman, its much easier to find. i used to bring them to sister at night all the time cuz i shared the bed. She woke up with ticks all the time. muahahaha.

But- a tick has to be on you for like 24 hours or more to actually get lymes disease! (in hoomans too!)

How can you have so many people that read your blog? You're the only one that reads mine!

Tonight my Mom went to the pet store to buy me some more dogfood because I was out and on her way into the store she saw a fluffy white dog in her mom's arms. She thought it looked like an eskie and so she went up to the lady and made a complete fool of herself and said "Is that an Eskie?" The lady said, "No, it is a pomeranian." My mom felt dumb. She did get to pet the pomeranian and it was very soft and friendly. Mom says she thought of you though.
