Two Year Blogiversary

Today is my TWO YEAR BLOGIVERSARY! Happy Blogiversary to ME! I just want to say that I have had a very enjoyable two years meeting and getting to know all of you. I appreciate all your visits and try to do the same, but sometimes I don't get around to leaving everydog and GirlGirl and JB comments. I wish I could keep up with everyone, but sometimes it's difficult being the busy social butterfly that I am. This has been a great support group (Isis, you can tell that to your Sister's coworkers) that I have been honored to be a part of, and we really appreciate everyone who helped my Mom raise money for Casper D Dog last year. JB, maybe my Mom will get to meet your Mom next year in Maui. And to all those who have sent me cards and presents and emails over the past 2 years, thank you, thank you! Wow, who knew what was in store when we each started our blogs.

Speaking of blogging, do you all remember when you first started blogging and it was so exciting to receive the very first comments on your blog? Well, there are a few new blogs that we have discovered that I would like to share with you. Please give them a friendly hello!

1st is Schmoopy's blog. Schmoopy is my nephew and he is also half-brother to Ender. We have just recently discovered Schmoopy's blog!

2nd is Yasha's Bonsai's blog. She is my new friend and she has 2 brothers and lives in the same state I live in. Yay for California Eskies!

3rd is White Dog aka Siku Marie's blog. She has been blogging for a while but I thought I would introduce her anyway. She gave me the bestest compliment anydog could receive. She told me my lounging photo makes me look like Cleopatra! If that's not the bestest compliment ever, then I don't know what is!

p.s. I acknowledge I have not obtained permission from Schmoopy, Yasha, or Siku Marie to use their photos, but I will promptly remove their images if this is an issue. We just realized today that it's our blogiversary and wanted to do a quick post and thought it'd be timely to include an introduction to these 3 new dog blogs.

Happy Blogiversary Hana! Thanks for the nice things you said about my blog. Denver is a good city to visit; it has lots of diverse restaurants great outdoor stuff and plenty of culture. The LoDo area is very hip; the aquarium is crowded but the otters are cute. The DAM is interesting and the Red Rocks amplitheater is a good place for concerts. Just be sure you have a good city map!

Hana,
We have two male sugar gliders, Chuck and Isaac and they have a big cage in the living room. At night when we feed them they are allowed to come out and play. I sit in the leather chair right by their cage and they visit me by sitting on the arms. They are funny hyper little animals but we get along pretty well. I did not like the time that Chuck tried to ride on my back but I just twisted and he jumped right off! When they are mad they sound like mini chainsaws! hehe

Our topping on the lemon oatmeal bars was a tiny bit crumbly! It wasn't the most beautiful dessert to cut into bars and pile on a big plate for guests to eat but it was sure yummy and people weren't caring too much about presentation!

oh Hana, how could this happen? I missed your blogaversary! Congratulations to you! I know how hard it must be too keep up since you are so popular and have so many dogventures, and your sure are a social butterfly! I am glad to know you, and I hope my sister is not giving cats a bad name. I am very clean, you know. I am trying to get caught up on reading blogs, but mom keeps saying how busy she is still!
The interviews went well and they were checking references yesterday and she is then supposed to get an offer....we'll see if it is good enough.
Oh, and mom went by the old house yesterday to get mail etc, and she walked into the garage and heard a bunch of squealing! She looked down and there were 5 mice in one PB glue trap! 3 were dead and two were trying to get away! Mom was just sick that they were suffering so much, but she had to pick up the trap and put it in the trash so in case we get any showings there are not a bunch of dead mice! Mom thinks that the mouse highway got flooded out when we had the 10 inches of rain or so a couple days ago. So the mouse patrol had to make an emergency detour through our garage!
Happy Friday to you! Your mom is almost on vacation, isn't she? My mom and daddy canceled their trip yesterday and now scheduled it for late March when my daddy has his vacation week set.
Thanks for the poop commments. PooPoo actually has used her litter box the last day or so, and her poop is hard, so we hope things will get better. My mom knows PooPoo well, and she is very spiteful and gets mad and has always done this sort of thing her whole life.....that is how she got her name!
