Happy Blogiversary to Me!

I can't believe it. I missed my blogiversary! My one year blogiversary was on August 18, 2007. It has been over a year now since I started my dog bloggy. I can't believe I forgot about my blogiversary.

During the past year, I have met many new dogfriends. I knew my nephew Ender and Casper D Dog before I started my blog. They were the ones who encouraged me to start my bloggy. Then, I met so many other dogs. Woo hoo, I had 16 comments on my first bloggy post. It was so exciting to meet other blogging dogs!

Reflecting over the past year of blogging, here is what comes to mind:

1. I learned Zach's secret. It is an honor to be friends him, a famous severed hand model.

2. I received the gift of big cookies from Hershey and Copper. (My mom also bought a painting from Hershey's Mom). Hershey and Copper were so thoughtful.




3. I received the gift of MORE cookies (international this time) from Luckie. Plus, Luckie sent me a Mr. Brown Bear of my own and I got to take off his underpants!

4. My bloggy was nominated blog of the month. I won for featured blog of the month for April 2007! Thank you to those who voted for me. It was an honor just to be nominated! Thank you Ivy!

5. I was honored to meet the famous Casper D Dog and had THREE, count 'em, THREE dates with him!



6. I was happy to help coordinate, with my Mom, the two medical fund auctions for Casper D Dog and had a chance to meet a lot of DWBers who participated in the auction. (We have our paws crossed that Casper does not relapse a 2nd time. By the way, he had a super labor day outing this past weekend!)

7. I exchanged holiday cards with some dog bloggers. That was a lot of fun! I still have my cards up on our fireplace mantle and look forward to exchanging cards with my friends again this year. Heehee, I got more cards than my parents did!

8. My long lost litter mate Raven found me!! Raven is from Alaska and she was looking for information on sledding eskies (which by the way was what my 2nd post was about) and wow, she came across my blog and after email exchanges, we found out that we are litter mates, born on the same date and have the same parents... yes, true littermates! Is that cool or what!!!!?

9. Witnessed the stork delivery of a 2 legged human pup named Miriam. (well, okay, not really "witnessed" but it was cool knowing my very first 2 legged blogging pup)

10. I have become famous more than one time, but I also did become SUPER DUPER FAMOUS from Ivy's matching game because Ivy used my picture to include on the game tiles.

11. I had the pleasure to get to know Fufu way out in Singapore. We were very saddened of his passing, but we were honored to know him. He is missed very much.

Oh, there is so much more that has happened this year, but off the top of my furry head, this is what comes to mind. You all have been so fun to get to know and you repeatedly crack me up to the point of where I almost pee in my furpants INSIDE the house! I have been honored to be a part of the DWB community!! For those of you who will be celebrating your Blogiversary one day, may you also feel honored to be a part of this wonderful community and look back on your first year with fond memories.

OK, ok, enough with the sappy stuff! I know... I haven't been blogging much lately. I hope to get back to blogging more and kicking my Mom off my computer!
