Life is Complicated

Last week we saw the passing of our fellow blogger, Oscar. I also saw the passing of my two eskie friends, Mister and Shasta, last week as well. Mister was 17 years old and led a long life. Shasta was not yet 2 years old and over the past 4 months, she had been declining. Her legs would give and she would fall, a disc in her spine was not right, she was throwing up and heaving. The day came last week where Shasta and Oscar and Mister went to the rainbow bridge.

Life is complicated. When one being passes, another might be born. Life can be sad and joyful at the same time. You see, my niece Kona gave birth to 3 puppies last week. I just found out about it today. The puppies were 2 boys and 1 girl. Is that coincidence? Maybe the spirit of Oscar, Mister, and Shasta are within the brand new puppies.

Well, I want to send a big congratulations to Kona on her new babies! This makes ME a great auntie and makes Ender an uncle! It is exciting to have new babies in the family. Kona's family is planning to keep one of the babies! The babies are going to be very handsome and pretty eskies because Momma Kona is a cutie herself and Daddy Teddy is quite the looker too! I hear Kona is being a great Mom to her new babies, almost as if she has done this before.

This is Kona. She sure is pretty, isn't she?

This is the dad, Teddy, with the puppies' Grandma Ting Ting. Boy, Teddy sure is fluffy (not fat)! What a handsome boy he is!

And here is Kona with her new puppies:

Congratulations Kona and Teddy!! Welcome to the world little pups!!

Thanks everyone, I think my puppies are cute too! They are starting to get tiny black marks on their nose. I don't remember having a pink nose either, but I must have!
