My Day at the Lake
It's not often that I go on big outings with the parents, but last weekend we all went to Lake Chabot for a long walk. I was sooo excited to go on a big walk. There were lots of people around and I got to sniff at various things.
Here we are, half way through the walk where the actual dam is. We had just turned around to go back the way we came from.
I was SOOO tired! I'm just not used to walks this long. I had to take a break to relax my legs. Actually, I had to take many breaks along the way.
My dad went into the port-o-potty. I wanted to go in there with him but he wouldn't let me in! But then I wondered why he completely disappeared, so I kept looking for him behind the port-o-potty. "Oh DADDDD, where did you goooooo?"
Ok, I must confess, though this is embarassing. I was absolutely exhausted beyond belief that my dad had to give me a lift. I'm so lucky dad is strong enough to hold me because I'm not light as a feather.
After getting back to the car, I was a happy camper. Long walks are not for me!! Give me a car ride anyday over a long exhausting walk.
I was even more happy to get home!
Do you like what chauffeurs me around? Well, ok, so mom and dad don't own this car. It was at the lake parked near our car. But, I'd say it would make a good Hana-car and I would most certainly look amazing in it, don't you agree? No doubt I'd be the most popular dog on the block.

Yesterday when my mom went to get Meeko from the kennel, she saw someone there with an American Eskimo dog like you! It was a very sweet Eskie and gave her kisses.
WOW! What a car, but you would have to sit in the front, you would be way too smooshed in the back (if there is a back?!) You should have put your paws in the lake, I bet the cold water would have made them feel good!
Ender, it turns out this car is a Lotus Elise and there are no back seats. Guess I would have to sit upfront with the driver :-) The car would be so cool with me in it, and vice versa. A beautiful white eskie against a deep blue background. I love it! Can ya picture it?
The really funny thing about this Lotus Elise is that I saw another one TODAY! Didn't have my camera with me though. That was really unfortunately BECAUSE THERE WAS A DOG SITTING IN THE CAR!
there's another dog in the hana-car? that's awful! about the long walks, i sure know what you mean. akira LOVEs long walks, the longer the better, but, well, my legs are a little shorter than his ya know, and i'm not embarassed to admit sometimes sis has to carry me home. i am a pampered pooch!
