Dog in MY Backyard!!

On Thanksgiving Day, there was a D O G in MY BACKYARD!!! He came back the day after Thanksgiving, too, and my Mom was able to get proof of the DOG lurking in our yard!!! He lives two doors down from us and our gate is locked and there isn't anything for him to climb up on to jump over our gate. We think he went through our neighbor's backyard and then dug underneath the fence on our little hillside. Because he seemed to show up unannounced, my Mom would take me outside to do business, on a leash.

Mr. Chewie is generally a nice dog. His owners do not take care of him too well though. I don't know how he happens to have a good disposition despite his uncaring family. His female owner is a BBBBB keeper and they keep BBBBs on their property. Ouch!!! He barks and barks and barks and they don't care.

When it is windy and his owners are not home, he always manages to get out of his backyard. Guess where he goes? He goes to our other neighbor's house and scratches their door! He even got to the door frame's insulation TWICE! He goes to the neighbor's house because they were nice to him before, bringing him goodies when his owners left him all alone when they went out of town. Because of this, we can't be too nice to him else he will come visit us and scratch OUR door! His owners will leave him in the backyard all by himself when they go on vacation for days on end. Many neighbors have called the city about this, but seems the dog keeps barking and keeps getting out. We don't call because we are afraid the dog will be put in the pound and then who knows what will happen.

Poor Chewie. He is a nice dog, but his owners stink.

That is so sad that the neighbors don't take very good care of the doggie. He sure is cute. It would be hard not to be nice to him, but you don't want him to be a pest. I hope he gets better care soon.

Hugs and licks,
Clive

Hana - I'll let Chewie come to my yard if you let all the cats that live under my neighbor's house come to your yard. He looks like a lot of fun. Too bad his people don't treat him right.

ps. We couldn't help but laugh at one of the pictures that flashes for your ribbon necklaces. It's the eskie making the scary face and wearing the red white and blue necklace. Who is the mystery eskie, and could you put that picture in your yard to scare away Chewie?

aww poor Mr. Chewie. I wouldn't wish any pound time on him at all.. I've been there, and it's not pleasant at all!!
Maybe you should dig a hole in your backyard, and hide it in. Then, when Chewie comes back.. you can SCARE him away!! AH! Or.. maybe he'll fall in it :S
Is Mr. Chewie nice to you?
Well, I hope everything works out for you, and Mr. Chewie!

Hey Hana, chicken bones also have gelatin, I don't know why they don't gell up like turkey broth....here is a website that talks about it, but it does say the longer you simmer with bones, the thicker broth gets. http://www.globalgourmet.com/food/kgk/2003/0103/kgk011003.html

Crazy stuff!

Hi there Hana! There are soooo many doggies here in Malaysia who are roaming around the streets, neglected & not fed. There are many irresponsible owners here in my neighborhood. We've already rescued a few but there are many more that we can't help. We now have another abandoned Husky here staying with us. She's was in terrible shape but today, she's brighter, got more energy & clean! She just had a two hour good scrubbing yesterday. Hope she will get better soon. Anyway, just wanted to ask you whether I can add you as my friend. I love making new friends!

Love licks,
