8 Things About Hana the Dog
I was tagged by Luckie and Copper to tell 8 habits about myself and 7 random facts about me. Like Luckie, I'm gonna combine the two tags.
1. I am not as angelic as you all think I look. I burp a lot. But, I don't fart. Mom says it's gotta come out one way or the other.
2. I have a perch at home where I can spy on all the neighbors! I know everything that goes on in my courtyard!

This is kinda sorta what I see from my perch... it's really skewed though. It's supposed to be an 360 degree view of my cul-de-sac but this picture doesn't really show it correctly. The street is really not that wide and the picture is not supposed to be so tiny. My house is both on the left side and on the right side of the picture, so you can see it's not accurate.
3. My leg has a mind of its own. When I am lying down and my parents come near me, my leg goes up in the air all by itself because it knows my belly is waiting for a belly rub.
4. I can open the patio screen door all by myself by pushing my nose against the screen door and sliding the door open to the right. There is nothing that can keep me from going inside. (Okay, habit number 4.5 is that I like being indoors)
5. My fur is self cleaning! Yes siree! There are oils in American Eskimo Dog fur that repels dirt. I can be rolling in the dirt or have grass stains on me, but give me 15 minutes and I will be white and clean on my own. (can't say about the carpet though...) I l
augh at all you dogs who blog about having to take baths! hahahahaaaaaa! I haven't had a bath since January, and I don't stink at all and my fur still feels clean! For real! I even sleep with my parents during part of the night. My parents didn't know my fur was self cleaning before they adopted me, so they say the self cleaning feature is a bonus!
6. When I am on a car ride and just a couple miles from my dog friend's house, I will get up and start barking because I know we are almost near my friend's house!
7. I am doing research on insects. For instance, when I see ants on the ground, I will sit there and study them. I don't swat at them or lick them or pounce at them. I will just observe them as they go on their merry way.
8. I am too smart for my Mom. I always know when she is going to ask me to "play dead" and I will do it even before she says it. I'm a mind reader.

I'm soooooo jelous,Hanna that is soo cool, I've been threatened with a bath this weekend,grrrrrrr, the only good thing about it right now it's sooo hot , that I might welcome cooling off a bit
I'd be watching the neighbors too if I could, but I'm on the 7th floor, and when I look out , moswtly I just see sky( I did spot some hawks one day that was waaay cool

Wow! I'm self cleaning too, except for mud that gets stuck in my toes. Everything else just comes right off my fur, no problem

And YES, my Mom says he will trade houses with you. I love your perch. I have one too. It is an ottoman by the window just for moi! I love it. I just lay there and watch the world go by. It even has a slipcover.
What is that pink furry thing you are laying in and on? You kinda look like an eskie taco. Speaking of tacos, my mother better get off the computer and make tacos for my Dad and feed me. I wonder if I can have tacos.
