Fashion Show

I have recently learned from the statistics at Site Meter that I am getting a bazillion hits on my bloggy from dogs doing searches on phrases like “how to make a ribbon necklace”, plus dogs are coming into my site from Craftzine’s link to my bloggy telling the world about my original necklace tutorial. So, I think I really AM Famous now. I even ran across a dog named Izzy who had a link to my bloggy and it showed a picture of Izzy in her new necklace. AND, to add to it, doggies on my Eskie.Net board are trying out the new necklace craze.

FASHION SHOW!

This group of pictures show handmade ribbons.

By the way, as more pictures come in, I will be adding them to my fashion show.

(3/20/07) Ou-la-la, this is Copper! He is a natural born model, as I'm sure anyone who knows will know. Take a look at all his poses! He looks like he just stepped out from Dog Fancy. What a creation Copper is! Girl dogs, calm down pleaseeee!! There is enough Copper to go around!

This is Copper in his "sun in my eyes" look in his doghouse:

And this is Copper in his favorite innocent sideways glance pose:

You can see all of Copper's poses right HERE!

This is my mom's newest creation (3/12/07). Hershey looks SOOO HANDSOME in the ribbon necklace. Girl doggies, what da ya think? Hubba hubba hubba! I think he is the star of my Fashion Show:

Here I am modeling my very first handmade ribbon collar which started the ribbon craze:

And this is a close-up:

My half-sister Mika had one made by her mom at the same time my mom made me my first ribbon necklace:

And, we made one for my little niece, Happy:

This is my favorite ribbon necklace. My mom made it for my birthday last month when I turned 7 years old. I still have the energy of a pupster and look the part with my dazzling head-turning ribbons:

A close-up of my beautiful necklace:

Comet sporting festive holiday colors to go with his big holiday smile. Made by Comet's girl:

BLU wears a beautiful red and white necklace that offsets her fur quite nicely. Made by BLU's girl:

Comet and BLU look ready to party at the Mardi Gras parade. Made by their girl:

Casper frolicking in his blues and greens before he takes a cool dip in the pool. Made by Hana's Mom:

And a close-up. Made by Hana's Mom:

Luna has a very special necklace crafted by her mom. For those of you on the go, Michael's craft store has a selection of boxed matching ribbons so you don't have to pick and choose individual ribbons. It makes the process extra easy, especially for those people who have no color sense and get dizzy looking at the aisles and aisles of ribbon. Made by Luna's Mom:

Shasta and Gypsea are twins modeling twin necklaces. This was just in time for Valetine's Day! What better way to say "Happy Valentine's Day" to your furbabies. Made by Shasta and Gypsea's Mom:

Taz and Kodi are overwhelmed in ribbons! Made by Taz and Kodi's Mom:

Casper looks dashing in his red birthday ribbons. Made by Hana's Mom:

Here is a picture of a ribbon necklace for a fancy formal black-tie event. I gave this to Casper for his birthday, in addition to the red ribbon above:
Close-up:

Here I am sporting Casper's red ribbon, but I am making a face at the camera person. Also note that when Casper wears it (3 pics up above), the ribbons stand out more on him because he is smaller and has less fur than I do:

A close-up:

And this is what it looks like when you layer two sets of ribbons together (the red ribbon necklace and the gold formal ribbon necklace):

This is my new friend, Izzy. Izzy's mom found my famous bloggy and made Izzy this dazzling unique yellow and green necklace. This gives you a good example of how a ribbon necklace looks like on a short haired pup. Made by Izzy's Mom:

Store-bought ribbons

This will give you even more ideas, plus if you are not crafty, these are perfect for you.

Gypsy's modeling festive holiday colors with little bells attached! She got this ribbon at the online VIPoochy store. They are $8 at this store, and is the best deal online! I think you can get up to 7 or 8 ribbons and still stay under the $8 shipping cost. VIPoochy has a wide selection of ribbons to choose from:

Mona shows her delicate shy side with these pretty pink ribbons with little stars/snowflakes along the edges:

If anydog would like to have their picture included in my now famous bloggy, drop me a comment with your info and a link to your picture, and I will add it to this fashion show!!!

Hey Hana, I am just a dog so I can't explain posterization but I can look it up on the internet (I can do that) and found this

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Posterization

You will have to ask Hershey's Mom about it. She drew or changed photographs to make all of these things I posted. They were on her commputer. Oh, the acrylic part means she painted it with acrylic paints. It is a painting on a canvas but it started out as a photograph.

Wow Hana, I bet your mom didn't realize she was starting the next big trend with the ribbon craze! That's very cool.

Thank you for including us in your fashion show. Unfortunately, now our girl will probably get more ideas for new ribbons for us.
