Birthday Weekend and Bunny Agility

My birthday is tomorrow, so this is my birthday weekend. Yesterday my parents took me out to a big park. I don't get out much, so this was special! This park has a huge grassy area, and usually there aren't many people or dogs there. As soon as my parents let me off leash, boy oh boy, I was hop-skip-and-jumpin'!! Yeh!! I love being off leash! Well, I was running this way and that way, and sniffing everything I could. I was having a ball. I came across something in the grass, and I sniffed it, and then I decided I was gonna eat it so I put it in my mouth. Then, I sniffed the spot in the grass some more, and then I rolled my whole body in it! It was like heaven! My parents weren't sure what I was up to, but I continued rolling in the grass, and then when I stood up, my neck/chest area had something brown and sticky on it. My parents had frowns on their faces and were shaking their heads saying "Nooo, Hana... Yuck!" I don't know what was up with them, but I was sure smellin' good! My mom said she was disillusioned and disgusted, and she agreed that I smelled, but to her it wasn't a good thing. My dad went into the restroom and retrieved some tissue and tried to wipe the brown stuff off of me with water. I think the smell of the brown stuff was really strong now since it was smearing all over my white fur. My parents just sighed, put me back on my leash, and said we were going to walk on the sidewalk now. Hmpf! It was my birthday weekend, why can't I roll around in the grass? My parents always say there is a little person inside my dog body... but now they aren't so sure. They said I showed my true colors. What does THAT mean?

Later today we are supposed to celebrate my birthday a day early, with cupcakes my mom made. And, she made me a new ribbon necklace. I hope it will be a fun day. I am going to see Happy and watch something called the Super Bowl.
