The Great Pumpkin Weigh Off
In Half Moon Bay, they had the 33rd annual Safeway Championship Weigh Off. The winning pumpkin was 1,223 pounds!!! That is like having 37 little Hana Dogs like me stand on a scale! I don't think Pam and Ken are as heavy as these mammoths, are they Ivy? Whoever owns the big pumpkin should make pumpkin pie to share with us doggies, dontcha think? (I'm beginning to sound like Isabella.)

Joel Holland from Sumner, Wash., won at the Half Moon Bay Pumpkin festival for the sixth time. His pumpkin has a height of 3 feet 3 inches, circumference of 14 feet 6 inches, with a weight of 1,223 pounds:

Wow, that's a HEAVY pumpkin! I could eat it for years and I can still have leftovers!
Those things are so big - I'd hafta bark at them if I saw them!

HOLY, those are monstrous!! I think I would run for hills if I ever saw one of those.... afterall, I am afraid of the regular sized scaaaaa-wie butter squash....

oh my dogness!! those are so much huger than any pumpkins i haf ever seen! i better not let pam and ken see those picktures or it will make them feel small!
i think that is more pumpkin than i cud ever eat!
Those pumpkins would make pumpkin pie for all of us dogs!
