Half Moon Bay Dogventure

My Mom has been hogging the computer. She said she is working on "Texas" which is about a lot of paperwork and giving money away. But, today my Mom is not feeling well so I told her I was gonna write a post about my dogventure!

My dogventure started with a car ride 2 weekend agos. Where we go is always a surprise to me until we get there, but she told me we were going to a place called Half Moon Bay where the weather is always unpredictable, but more often than not it will be
WINDY AND COLD.

Here is our first stop in Half Moon Bay. Mom said the colors of this dog house matched the colors on my ribbon necklace.

Here is where you can see the purple stairs, pink flowers in the flower bed along the window sill (sorry, the pink flowers don't come out too well in the photo), and of course the yellow house. My ribbon necklace has all those colors in it!

We walked all around the town and saw a pretty purple house with a white cat in the yard and ornaments hanging in the trees. Mom wanted to take a photo of it, but there was a lady gardening in the front yard, so she didn't snap a photo of it.

But, we did snap a photo of Sam's Chowder House. I got to eat at the Chowder House. Before our trip, Mom called up the Chowder House to make sure doggie were allowed. We sat in the outdoor area where there is a view. I couldn't see the view from the restaurant because I am too short, but I did see it later.

Here I am at the Chowder House. My dad is about to give me some treats.
Mom! The sun is in my eyes!

Here is the view that I was not able to see. But, my Mom made it up to me by sharing her French Fries that came with her fish-n-chips meal, which by the way, she said the Fish just melted in her mouth... Yum! The fries were really good too because they had some kind of spice on it.

After lunch, we went for a stroll.

You can't see it in this photo, but it sure as heck was windy!!!! I wanted to get back into the car as soon as possible!!!! That was harsh weather! Windy blowing in my face, in my fur. That's not for me. I like the luxuries of being indoors!

And that was my day trip! Not too exciting, but boy oh boy, I sure was dog tired when we got back to my dog house!

Chips. I love chips. How nice to go to a restaurant and eat them and then go for a walk. Sounds an ace dogventure to me.

That looks like a fun day trip. My mom loves eating fish in Half Moon Bay. Last time she was there was about a year ago, and she had fish at Barbara's Fish Trap. It looks like you had a pretty clear day there...it is always hit and miss when you head over the hill to the coast!

That sounds like a really great day! French fries and a car ride always makes a day great! That yellow house is really pretty. Hope your Mom feels better soon. Is your mom sniffing paint fumes like my mom is? Probably not. I bet your mom is smart enough to open windows while she paints! lol

Hi Hana,
Mom says that you can use whatever kind of rice you want to and she says that you probably can use less sugar. Mom has never used real rum, only rum extract but we can't imagine why you couldn't! The batter is very liquidy but it firms in the oven very nicely!
What ever happened to Ivy's cookbook idea?

Love ya lots

Oh wow what a nice trip! We don't have many places like that restaurant that allows dogs so we have to settle for dinner on the deck out back, which is OK.

I don't mind the wind; Mom says I'm all-weather 'cause I'm half Swedish (love the snow too). It's Mom that doesn't like it..

Love

Hi Hana,
My daddy Len said he would love to have you in the cockpit with him, but the FAA would not let him. It would be a securiy issue....who knows...you could be hiding a weapon in all that floofy fur you have! Yeah right.....I know you are not a terrorist!
Oh, and I think you mentioned Italy pictures before, but I don't think you ever posted any? Maybe you should tell a story about C-A-T-S in Italy?!?!?!
I think Copper's owl pic was awesome. I may never get a pic of an owl!

Our girl just filled out a bunch of paperworks to get tacks too. They don't sound like much fun - and she said a LOT of bad words when doing them too. We hope she doesn't have to worry about any more tackses for a while.
