Barkday Party!!!!

Whoo hoo! What a fun afternoon we had last Sunday celebrating Casper D Dog's 6th Barkday! There were 6 eskies there and 1 shih tsu (and "visiting" dachsies Copper and Mona). Loki is my hero. He is an eskie and he's got magical powers because he was able to snag a chip from his Mom's hands, then later a chip flew off my Mom's plate and right to Loki. Tortilla chips from heaven! At one point Casper was off leash for a little teenie weenie bit, and then later we saw the Police van coming towards us. We all held our breath, and fortunately the police passed by us. Whew, close call! Ice and Miko were a bit weird though. When we were served barkday cake, Ice and Miko didn't even touch theirs!!! My mom says that 2 of the humans there were brave to tell people who stopped by "Yep, we're celebrating Casper D Dog's barkday. He turned 6, and see, there he is! We all met online and there are a bunch more people like us around...." My Mom said she was a bit embarrassed to talk to people about it.

Here is the Barkday Boy, Casper! He is six years old now.

This is the Barkday Cake his Mom made out of peanut butter. Do you see that it says "6" on it? That is because Casper turned six years old.


My Mom made some backup desserts for us. These are pupcakes.

I got Casper a singing Barkday Cake, similar to what Isis got me for my Barkday. I really like my singing Barkday Cake, so I figured Casper would like one too.

Loki wanted to play with Casper's new toys, so his Mom was trying to take them away from Loki because they belong to Casper.


While his Mom was taking them away from him, Loki grabbed a bag! He is my hero. Did I already tell you that?


Casper and Loki played shrimp sushi tug-o-war. Loki doesn't even look like he's trying, but Casper is giving it his ALL.
