Hana the Buttereskie

I have recently been complaining about how my Mom always dresses me up YEAR AFTER YEAR AFTER YEAR as Mickey Mouse for Howl-o-weenie. It's pathetic I have to be Mickey Mouse ALL THE TIME, especially when I'm a GIRL, not a BOY!

Here is a photo of me from last year (or was that the year before or the year before that?):

My bestest friend, Siku, heard my tails tales of woe, and she and her Mom made my dreams come true!! They knew I've always wanted to be a butterfly, so they sent me a present! Butterfly wings!! The wings are pastel colored and very sparkly. Now I can flitter and flutter and float! An added bonus is no one will mistake me for a BOY anymore.

Mom, you're not sneaking up on me with a butterfly net, are you?

I fluttered my way down to the foliage, just like real butterflies do

My friend saw me wearing my new wings, and she asked if I was a Buttereskie. I think I will call myself a Buttereskie! It has a nice ring to it, don't you think?

Thank you Siku! I love my new wings!

Signed,
Hana the Buttereskie

You make a pretty buttereskie. This must be the year of wings. Our girl made us fairies this year, but our wings weren't as pretty as yours.

Oh Hana, we remember you as Mickey Mouse. Glad you got a change, and you look so feminine as a Buttereskie! You should wear one of your pastel ribbon necklaces with the costume too!
Speaking of ribbon necklaces....mom is getting into the whole holiday thing and we may want to get your mom to make me or one of my sibs a red and green ribbon necklace for our Xmas card this year. Can you email my mom how much it costs and would your mom have time to make one? I know it is the busy time of year....let us know!

We are still so shocked to learn that Hana crossed the bridge. We can't imagine how hard this is for your family right now, but we wanted to pay tribute to what a wonderful girl Hana was on our blog and send all of the wonderful dog bloggers your way for support. We hope you don't mind.

We are so sorry for your loss.
